Terms and Conditions
Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern enrolment in and participation in The A Maths Club. By submitting the registration form and agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, the parent or legal guardian confirms acceptance of the terms set out below.
1. Programme Overview
The A Maths Club is a structured online learning programme designed to support students studying O-Level Additional Mathematics (G3 or Express), primarily at Secondary 3 and Secondary 4 level.
The programme operates as a complete learning system delivered through:
live online lessons,
recorded lecture content,
structured practice worksheets,
worked solutions,
and a members-only Student Portal.
The programme is system-driven and standardised. It is not a personalised tutoring service.
2. Eligibility and Registration
Registration must be completed by a parent or legal guardian.
Upon successful registration:
the student will be assigned a unique Student ID,
onboarding will commence,
and access will be prepared in accordance with the programme workflow.
Registration indicates intent to enrol but does not constitute confirmation of active membership until the first invoice is paid.
3. Membership Structure
Membership operates on a monthly basis and runs by calendar month.
3.1 Start of Membership
If a student registers partway through a month:
the remainder of that month is treated as an onboarding period,
there is no charge for the onboarding period,
full access to materials and lessons is provided during onboarding.
The first billed month begins on the next calendar month.
3.2 Ongoing Access
As long as membership remains active, students may:
attend live lessons,
access recorded lecture videos and lecture notes (view-only),
download practice worksheets,
receive worked solutions,
and use the Student Portal.
Access is governed strictly by active membership status.
4. Fees and Payments
4.1 Fees
The monthly membership fee is S$288 per student per month.
This fee includes:
all live lessons,
all recorded lectures,
worksheets,
worked solutions,
and Student Portal access.
There are no registration fees or additional material charges.
4.2 Invoicing and Payment
Invoices are issued in advance for the upcoming calendar month.
Payment must be made before the new month begins in order for membership to continue uninterrupted.
Accepted payment methods are stated on the invoice.
Each invoice includes the student’s Student ID, which must be used as the payment reference.
5. Renewals, Late Payment, and Withdrawal
5.1 Renewals
The programme operates on a pay-to-renew basis.
Membership is renewed only when payment is received. New Zoom lesson links are issued only after renewal is completed.
5.2 Late Payment
If payment is late:
reminders may be sent,
access to lessons and the Student Portal may be suspended after a grace period.
Access is restored once payment is received. Re-registration is not required.
5.3 Withdrawal
If a parent chooses not to continue:
written notice must be provided by email before the next billing month,
invoicing will stop,
membership will lapse at the end of the current paid month.
There are no refunds for unused or partially used months.
6. Lesson Delivery and Materials
6.1 Live Lessons
Live lessons are conducted online via Zoom according to the published schedule.
Each lesson consists of:
a lecture segment, which is recorded,
followed by a tutorial segment, which is not recorded.
6.2 Recordings and Materials
Recorded lectures and lecture notes are uploaded to the Student Portal on a view-only basis.
Practice worksheets are downloadable.
Worked solutions are emailed after lessons.
Materials are provided for educational use by registered students only.
7. Missed Lessons
If a student misses a live lesson:
the recorded lecture and notes remain available,
worksheets and worked solutions are provided as usual.
Students are expected to use these materials to remain aligned with the programme.
Tutorial segments are not recorded.
8. Tutor Unavailability
In the rare event that the tutor is unexpectedly unavailable:
parents and students will be notified as early as possible,
a full two-hour recorded lesson covering both lecture and walkthroughs will be provided,
worksheets and worked solutions will be released as usual.
This constitutes fulfilment of the lesson for that week.
9. Student Responsibilities
Students are expected to:
attend lessons where possible,
attempt practice worksheets,
submit answers through the provided submission forms,
and engage actively with the programme.
The programme reinforces learning but does not replace student responsibility.
No guarantees are made regarding grades, examination outcomes, or individual academic improvement.
10. Communication
Email is the sole official communication channel.
Parents and students must include the Student ID in all correspondence.
Academic queries should be directed to the Head Tutor.
Technical, administrative, or payment queries should be directed to the official support email.
Response times may vary, but all reasonable efforts will be made to respond promptly.
11. Use of Materials and Intellectual Property
All programme materials are the intellectual property of The A Maths Club.
Materials may not be:
copied,
shared,
distributed,
recorded,
or reproduced in any form
without prior written permission.
Access is granted solely for the educational use of the registered student.
12. Data Protection and Privacy
Personal data is handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy of The A Maths Club.
By registering, parents consent to the collection and use of personal information for programme administration, communication, and access control.
13. Changes to the Programme or Terms
The A Maths Club reserves the right to:
update programme materials,
refine workflows,
or amend these Terms and Conditions when necessary.
Material changes will be communicated where appropriate. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
14. Limitation of Liability
The A Maths Club is not liable for:
technical issues outside its control,
missed lessons due to student absence,
or indirect or consequential losses.
The programme is provided as an educational service, not a guaranteed outcome.
15. Governing Principles
The programme operates on a principle of mutual responsibility:
The A Maths Club provides a structured, disciplined learning system.
Students and parents are responsible for engagement, participation, and use of the resources provided.
