Message to Students

Additional Mathematics is a subject that can become difficult very quickly. Each new topic depends on earlier ideas, and a small gap can grow into a larger problem if it is not addressed early. Many students find that they can follow lessons in the beginning, but start to slip once the pace increases and the concepts become more demanding. This is normal, and it reflects the cumulative nature of the subject rather than a lack of ability.

I started The A Maths Club because I want to teach students the skills needed to handle this subject with confidence. I was once in your position, trying to make sense of new ideas and learning how to study effectively. I understand the challenges that come with A Maths, and I believe that clear guidance and consistent practice can make a significant difference.

Additional Mathematics is not just another subject, but a foundational one. The core ideas in algebra, trigonometry, geometry, and calculus support many quantitative university courses and open pathways in science, technology, and finance.

If you have a strong desire to do well in this subject and are prepared to commit, I will provide the guidance and resources to help you succeed.
